  2. All patients over age 18 should come unaccompanied, and all patients below age 18 should come with only one parent or guardian. No additional visitors will be permitted in our office.

Dr. Brian G. Sherman, MD has been practicing pediatric ophthalmology, adult strabismus, and facial surgery of the eyes and lids over the past twenty nine years.

Dr. Sherman is a graduate of Wesleyan University, where he earned a Horace White Fellowship in Mathematical Economics and was elected Phi Beta Kappa. Afterwards, Dr. Sherman attended the Boston University School of Medicine graduating as a Doctor of Medicine. He carried out his internship in Brockton Hospital in Brockton, Massachusetts. He completed his ophthalmology residency rotating through hospitals including Boston Medical Center, Boston Children’s Medical Center, and Brigham and Women’s Hospital in Boston, Massachusetts, with a fellowship at New England Medical Center in Pediatric Ophthalmology. Dr. Sherman originally held an academic position at Tufts University, and has practiced in private practice in Tallahassee, Florida since 1998.

Dr. Sherman holds medical privileges at Tallahassee Memorial Hospital. As a board certified pediatric ophthalmologist, Dr. Sherman has carried out many different types of surgeries and procedures for his patients, and he is skillful in treating a wide range of concerns.

Dr. Sherman has worked with BOTOX® for almost thirty years, and he has treated numerous patients for eye muscle spasm and blepharospam, as well as for cosmetic uses. He is experienced in the use of fillers and surgeries as well as many other modern facial cosmetic treatments.

He is a member of the American Association for Pediatric Ophthalmology and Strabismus, Association for Research and Vision, American Academy of Ophthalmology, and the American Medical Association. Dr. Sherman maintains board certification in Ophthalmology by the American Board of Ophthalmology.

He holds medical licenses in the States of Florida, Georgia, and Alabama.

He is the proud father of two adult children, and he has two cats at his home in Tallahassee, Florida.
